The USC-2 card needs a stable power supply provided at the card (Ext_VCC) according to the specification. The Jumper JP1 has to be removed if the card is supplied via Ext_VCC. Even short drops of the power can lead to problems of the performance.

Because of significant voltage drop mainly due to the cables between the power supply and the USC card (e.g. 0.3 V for cable of 2 m with 0.25 mm²) , we recommend to measure the current power applied to the card directly at the following places on the USC card:
