1)Start the setup program (<SCAPS>\tools\sc_setup.exe). Select "Hardware Settings" and select 'sc_light_settings.sam' (default SAMLight settings file) and click 'Load' and 'Settings'.

a)General Settings: Here the SCAPS laser type '0' and version '0' have to be entered and the scanner settings have to be set up.

b)Driver Settings: Here all laser settings and the correction file  have to be set up.

c)Press the "Store" button in "Driver Settings" to save the configuration on the USC-2 card. This is important for the standalone mode (flash mode).

2)Start the server in visible mode (<SCAPS>\system\sc_usc_server /v). Select the USC-2 card and click on the Flash button.

a)Set up LAN connection (Ethernet, RJ45)

b)Click Flash -> PC-Mode and enter the following two flash commands:

i)FM 0x1800
Enables FTP server and TELNET.

ii)SVG
Saves changes to the USC-2 card.

iii)Exit the PC-Mode and leave the Flash Settings dialog with OK.

3)Re-power USC-2 card

4)Use a FTP client program to get access to the USC-2 FTP server (ftp://USC-2-IP) and copy following files to it:

a)ftp://USC-2-IP/misc/sc_gcode_defines.cnc
Optional global G-Code define file containing definition commands.

b)ftp://USC-2-IP/jobs/*.cnc
G-Code job file containing program and function code. Defines which are already set in the G-Code define file will be overwritten by the values of the G-Code job file.

5)With the following flash commands you can convert the *.cnc files from the /jobs directory of the USC-2 card to *.unf files on the USC-2 flash memory (you can do so for example by going to <SCAPS>\system\sc_usc_server /v  -> Flash -> PC-Mode)

a)Convert "USC-2-IP/jobs/*.cnc" to *.unf on the flash memory with the flash interface command CGF.

b)Check the progress of the conversion with the flash interface command GGI.
